By 2000, Christchurch City Council’s GeoData Services team supplied and collated geographic information for council departments, including asset management. The team reorganised engineering-plan conversion and worked on valuation links to the cadastre and national emergency-services data modelling. Council-developed software received an Intergraph award in 2004.
