Trevor Howse

PersonTrevor Howse

Trevor Howse was a lead researcher for the Ngāi Tahu claim, gathering and interpreting the documentary record of land transactions and tribal history. Ngāi Tahu’s published account describes his persistence in locating files. He also contributed to the early Kā Huru Manu paepae.

Kā Huru Manu’s early paepae included Trevor Howse, Kelly Davis, Matapura Ellison, Jimmy Russell and David Higgins, while Muriel Johnstone contributed knowledge of the Ōraka Aparima takiwā.
